Dr. Winston C. Wong, MD
Dr. Wong graduated from Meharry Medical College at the top of his class. He did his internship at Baylor College of Medicine/ Texas Heart Institute and finished specialty training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at USC Medical Center. In 2010, Dr. Wong founded Joshua International Ministries and travels internationally to offer free medical services and education to developing countries. Dr. Wong is the recipient of many awards, but the one he looks forward to the most is to hear his Creator God say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Dr. Kwan Tan, MD
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Tan has been with Joshua Medical Group since 1994. He was born in Malaysia, but grew up in San Francisco, CA. He graduated from Oral Roberts Medical School, Oklahoma and completed his residency at Loma Linda University. He is married with two lovely children. He enjoys spending time with them, riding bicycles and playing sports. He is also active at his church and has traveled on several short-term missions to China, Ghana, Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Mexico.
Dr. Andrew Mui, MD
Dr. Mui received his medical training from Oral Roberts Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency training at UCSF – Fresno. He also received his Master in Divinity from Fuller Seminary and Master in Public health from Loma Linda University. He joined Joshua Medical Group from 1993 to 1999, and after having served with his family in China for 14 years, he rejoined Joshua in 2014. He and his wife have 4 children and they are serving in a local church. He loves his patients and wants to help them physically, emotionally and spiritually. “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Dr. James Chen, MD
Juliana Wilson, PAC
Juliana graduated as a Physician Assistant from USC in 2001. Upon graduation, she worked at the Orange County Rescue Mission, serving the homeless and underprivileged of Orange County with a fully equipped, 32-foot mobile medical facility. She later joined Joshua in September 2005, where she continues to serve the community with Christ-centered patient care. Juliana is married with four children. When she is not at work, she enjoys being actively engaged in the raising and homeschooling of her children.
Lawrence Tsai, PAC
Lawrence received his Master of Physician Assistant Practice from USC in 2010. He joined Joshua shortly after and loves being part of the Joshua village. He sees patients of all age groups and strives to bring smiles and comfort to each one. He is married, has three sons, and can be found around the center playing basketball, ping-pong, guitar, studying the Bible, or fixing a computer.
